I run 46mm in mine with cc in the front with a spool and have no binding issues.

you should run 46mm shafts no matter what blocks you use, their thinner than 44mm so you dont have as much binding and the spool outdrives are less likely to break with 46mm shafts

You could try less droop in the rear

I thought less droop gave you more on power steering and less rear grip

It is all about weight transfer...if you run more droop in the rear then off power it will transfer more weight forward, thus more grip. If you reduce droop in the rear then off power will transfer less weight and less grip.

On Power droop would be all about the front. If you want less transfer then run less droop in the front for an on power situation.

What they are saying is try more front droop
Also try soften the rear in general, or stand the rear shocks up a hole

Will try your suggestions.

?? about spool- using this does it give you more chance of spinning? ( a friend had just suggested it).

No.

Less steering into and out of the corner with the right settings.

Better acceleration out of corner due to even power going to both front wheels.

My concern is that the spring rate will be off as the driver side spring is compressed slightly more then the passenger side.

Driver side:
Attachment 588185

Passenger side:
Attachment 588187

I do not have this issue with my TB Evo 5 MS. All 4 suspension have an even amount of spring compression to achieve the desired ride height. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance.

Assuming the shocks are all the same length, I'd say it's chassis tweak. Loosen all the screws on the top-deck, place chassis on a flat surface and then re-tighten screws in an x-pattern fashion.

Default Tyre warmer

Will you guys be using tyre warmers for racing in an air conditioned hall on carpet? I just bought one of the cheapo Much More Warmer (model MM-TW with 3080 evo controller). What temp should i be setting it up? I ll be using spec tyres of Sweep QTS 32 with FX2 sauce. Can anybody care to make a step by step preparation on what to do to the tyres and the warmers before using it in heats and finals? This is my first time using tyre warmers on my 416x.

Thanks for all of the responses guys!! I checked and validated all of the recommended setting changes and have discovered that it was indeed chassis tweak. I'm either tightening the screws in the incorrect sequence or applying the incorrect amount of torque. After several tries at tweaking the chassis I managed to get the front level.

Indoor carpet you generally dont need tire warmers. Just sauce the tires for about 15 mins, wipe off before your heat and go Outdoor/asphalt I generally do 120*-130*F or so for 20 mins with tire tweak sauce or similar.
