Just wondering how well those driveshafts hold up in 13.5/10.5/Mod????
I am running 5.5t on the 416x at the moment, and using the regular front drive shafts... only thing i am doing is running the steel (black) version of them instead of the aluminum (blue) version...(those bend easy given I am on a small track) but oever all have had no issues with them..

the package mentioned that it's not designed for mod racing, but i've been using mine in 11.5 racing and after 1 race (6 runs and plenty of practice runs) it still holds up fine.

some people said the reason why the pin breaks is because of the stress put on to the pin by the grub screw, so i remove the grub screws and secure the pins using heatshrink tubes.

i'll post it when it finally breaks... hopefully not anytime soon....

Did you join Team Blue, Sharpe?

The Tamiya CVDs are so awesome you dont need a DCJ You don't see Jilles and Marc with them, because they dont need them You could find a picture of the Tamiya CVDs in the dictionary, next to butter

Sorry, and thanks.

You wish, and I'd like to see those hobbyists get around our tight ass tracks. I got to thinking about putting a CEFX Evolution 416 together........ Thanks for the info guys.

Yeah, but it's because he uses a stick radio, which should be banned because not everyone can drive them.

The pin is weak in the Atomic/Spec R LCD/ECS/DCJ whatchamacallits. If you replace the pin with something stronger they last way way way longer.
