Also, the oneway cups on the 416 stick out a tad more than some of the other cups. I know some people are using 46mm steel bones and taking out the black oring in the oneway cups. But try using different oneway cups which are shorter. Something like the light weight cups.

Which lightweight ones? I have the TA04 light weight cups.

I did not have the chassis bowing issue on mine. I went into the build knowing about this issue. So I did not super glue the ends of the 2 top deck plates. Just the sides. Maybe some are super gluing the ends causing them to be a tad longer? Just curious if other people super glued the whole top deck.

Tamiya part number 53704 for lightweight, 53451 for normal. I had to get the lightweight ones and 42mm front shafts when I switched to short arms on my TRF415MS. The shorter shafts would fit into the lightweight cups since they are longer.

Hmmm, my lightweight cups look different than those lightweight cups. Mine are hollow. And shorter. Hmmmm... haha..
Looks like rain. So no racing for me. Maybe next weekend?

There are four types of oneway cups: original for TA04, 414m and first evo3, extended for the evo3 surikarn (no need for shims), extended lightweight which are hollow, and the shiny lightweight ones for the TA04.

Thatīs a 415 spool with the pulley flipped over. This has been covered before and is easy to do.

I'm using the Core pack, even though I don't care for the brand of cells they use. The case works well in the 416, though I had to remove the balancing plug so it didn't rub the top deck. You might consider trying a different brand if you don't want to mess with that and void your pack's warranty.
I'll get some pics later. It's not terribly pretty with the weight on the pack, but works great. Using the nexusracing.net weights shoe goo'd to the bottom of the pack to hold it in place is working perfectly.
