General

Car weight is 1425g 28g's outside of battery pack locating in the middle of the battery. 56g on inside of battery again as centerd as possible. 7g plus MRT PTX transponder in front of battery. 7g in front of motor. Dual fans behind motor.

removed screw above steering rack for more flex

I found this car doesn't need as much weight outside the battery to achieve left to right balance like the WE did(due likely to motor position obviously) nor do you have to keep it to the back of the car. I put it all as central as possible for front to rear balance which is probably 55% front-45% rear.

Used a Mazda speed 6 LW. I'm going to try the regulr Mazda as I think it will feel even better. Gearing with a 13.5 was 105/38 with Tekin RS and Trinity Duo 2
Hey Joe,
When you put the fans behind the motor, does the fans blow on the motor or away from the motor?
thank you

They are blowing towards. I used to mount 1 fan only on the scoop blowing towards the motor. It seemed to work better than the double set-up now. Less weight too!

Hey Joe,
One more question, how do you connect the fan? Doesn't the lipo voltage too much for the fans?
thank you in advance

I like to wire them to the +/- on the speedo. I haven't had any failures from them getting the 7.4+ volts. They do spin faster of course but why I like it is when your done your run they stay on after you shut the car down. Helps cool everything down faster while you marshall.

What diff grease you guys use? I used the muchmore one and my diff kept slipping. I switched back to my AE stealth duff lube, and it grabbed like how it is supposed to.

Also, do people put three extra balls into the open holes on the pulley? Read about it somewhere on the 501x forum. thanks

I like Kyosho diff grease. I've used it for years and it works great.

I'd suggest watching Jilles' video on diff building if you haven't already. He uses the Schumacher grease (and AE on the thrust) and details how he and the TRF team build their diffs.

I managed to track down that part number once on Schumacher USA's site and purchase it. It was such a monumental pain in the ass to find it that I bought like 5 so I wouldn't have to go through the pain again any time soon.

Edit: I just tried to find it again on their site and lost my will to live after waiting for their craptacular search to time out. Goodbye cruel world.
