Why do they need a 417? The TRF team is still beating them even with the T3. Look at the corner speed Marcs car had at the last ETS compared to the others. It wasn't even fair.

nooo you went over to the dark side I beg to differ so I will stick with the TRF while the whole club is dominated by xrays and photons. I think Tamiya will add more letters before moving to the 417.

Questions:

1) is this pic a box standard car ( obviously excl the electrics / servo . battery ) or with some upgrades ?
2) how do you get the white background ?

btw, any idea what are the extra screw holes on the chassis (in front of the rear front bulkhead screw attachment) for?

Great pic. Wondered if there are any handling differences if you switch to the separated suspension mounts...

1 - no, there are a few optional parts fitted like; alu/ti screws, fluorine balls, alu lower spring retainer, separate susp. blocks

2 - white table/wall with ok lights and then just photoshop

When they refer to seperate suspension mounts are they talking about the aluminum blocks that connect to the chassis that hold the arms in place and are seperate from the aluminum diff housing (XRay T3 design)? I am looking at a 416WCE or X or Top Racing Photon. I thought that the 416 WCE and X have seperate suspension mounts stock with the kit. Is this not true?

As far as I know the standard kit comes with 1 piece susp mounts and the 2 piece are sold seperately as upgrades
