The Kimbrough servo saver will last forever, but I think it's a little soft and less direct feeling. The Tamiya saver with the alum horn has a nice direct feel, but you'll stretch them out every now and then and need to replace the plastic portion ($5). If the car feels like it won't center, it's probably time to change the saver. I just test it by trying to turn the wheels with the radio on (so the servo holds position) and looking to see if there's any play. If it "clicks" from side to side, it's time to replace.

Tamiya have
White = Extra hard
Blue = Hard
Yellow= Medium
red = Soft
but the HPi springs are
between White and blue = gold
Between Blue and Yellow = silver
i find the HPi springs give better car control on Asphat then the Tamiya springs but on carpet they are too agressave and the tamiya springs are better

If u bent your FR blocks, you may as well replace with split block. They are rock solid. Get both C & D so you have tuning options.
Regarding HPI springs, I would add Pinks to Stein's list. They are between gold and silver in spring rate.

i used 44's all summer long outside with no problems
then i went indoors and at tthe first race meeting i broke 3 spool outdrives before i realised i needed 46's
i will always use 46's now but i feel that sometimes on full lock they tend to tie the car up , i am now using 1C 1C front not 1D 1D i was using so maybe i will be ok with 44's
