Not sure how many times we have to tell you but they're the wrong pics! Refer to Ed's previous comment - these are the so called "scoop" pics for the original 416. Check the first few pages of this thread if you are still not sure...

1) Lower Deck - battery position move forward (about 5mm)
2) Single piece upper deck
3) Redesigned motor brace (slightly tougher)
4) Front toe block c/w kit (1C + 1C)
5) Rear toe block c/w kit (1XA + 1F; 3.5 deg)
Sugg to get the following as fine tuning
1) 1D + 1E toe block (Rear)
2) Ti turnbuckle (Front Upper link)
3) WE wheel lock nuts
Sugg to get the following as spares
1) Arm + Knuckle + C-Hub + Belts + Spool Cups

Ok, so having been having a chin wag this evening with my HHUK teammates... here's the theory
New motormount bulkheads and side bulkheads, and just a new rear belt... points to the motor going forward. Think about it, if the bigger pulleys are also included, then if the layshaft goes forward, the current front belt could be retained, and just a new (longer) rear required....
So, possibly aiming to make a bit of an improvement to balance for LiPo, especially now IFMAR has gone LiPo. Also potentially better spur access.
Not sure on the lower bulkheads, maybe a refinment more than a compelty new mounting (thinking curvey bulkheads on the 415MS from the 415)... than again, could be completely wrong!!!
Guess will find out in October

New car will have the diff further aft, putting the drive shafts on the same angle as the wishbones, as since the first interation, the arms are being quite a bit further back. Should be around 2-3mm I understand, so that would account for the new rear belt, and lower rear bulkheads.
Now, I've been looking at this pic Viktor ETS 1 and if you compare the distance between the plastic bearing holder and the hole in the left rear bulkhead with that on a standard car (incidently which is in front of me), I'm sure theres more material there.... same looking at this one Viktor ETS 2, hole in bulkhead to Diff outdrive... it's not much, but there is noticeably more material...
Centre bulkhead, I suspect (and only realised this after re-reading some notes from Kio we got at the begining of the year), it'll be a new mount to move the motor 1mm closer to the centreline. Again this has apparently been run on the team cars for a while, so wouldn't be suprised for that to be on the car. Not sure why the need for a seperate rhd centre bulkhead though...

Anyway, have some more theorys on the other bits... gonna be fun speculating until the end of October

That's a keen eye you have there Ed! I think you might be onto something...
Looking at that 1st photo, I noticed Viktor ran the diff in the high position. Anybody try this before? I suspect this is to improve rotation?

Yeah, it improves rotation. Helps out steering. I just ran it on my BD5. Worked pretty good. I think I only tried it once when I had a 416. But I don't remember the result. I think... it's been awhile.... but I think you can only do that in the rear of the 416 and not the front because of the spool sleeves. The spool sleeves would hit the bulkhead caps up front if you raised the spool to high position.

Ended up 2nd overall in 17.5 rubber at IIC. The car was fantastic, but I blew a few too many lines, and never figured out how to make that hand out motor fast. Sounds like other guys were getting lots of help. I just sat in the corner and wrenched all weekend, and tried to get the car to turn.
The guy that got 3rd was running an EVO4 or something. When I get my stuff back, I'll make a setup sheet since a few guys were interested.
