Hi,

I've heard some stories on my local club about a aftermarket Hong Kong manufacturer who should have copy'd the brilliant Xray ECS driveshafts but than for the tamiya. Does anyone knows something more about this?

Thanks!

XRay copied those brilliant shafts from none other than Losi.

Wouldn't the opening in the c-hubs need to be much larger to accommodate them?

Champ is saying the WE is out of stock and Tamiya has told them there won't be another run. I guess maybe we can expect a new kit sometime soon? It'll be interesting to see if the team is testing anything new at IIC.

Actually the HB driveshafts fit right into the Tamiya knuckles and C-hubs. Only problem is that the inner pin is 2.25mm thick rather than the 2mm thick Tamiya pin. I've been waiting for a set of my own so I can see what we will need to do in order to run them.

Is that the inner pin that would go into the spool plunge, I can't see that being a major stumbling block. My question is, does this car really need the ecs?

RCMArt still has 15 in stock.... if I recall well , that number was under ten 2 weeks ago , so there was some extra units...not sure if they will renew after these 15

But if you waiting for new kit it may be a while , I have been waiting for an R version of TA05 for 6 months now , still nothing new and no re releases of the old kits

Quick question. How much steering dual rate do you guys run with your cars? The car seems pretty squirrely at 100% and wanted to see what the ball park is for other racers. Thanks
