Idiot...
You are going to throw X-Ray 45 bucks for brass but wont buy a lightening screw set ? for 45?
That doesn't add up man.
You're a class act as always John. Any other names, you'd like to call me???

My point was, you don't always want the weight of the battery as close to the centre as possible, especially when you don't have a lot of weight to play with. FYI, I don't run any trays but to balance my car, I run my lead weights as far from the centre as possible. So yeh, you missed my point...

And yeh things are tight now as I'm unemployed. All because a bunch of greedy "business men" 14,000 miles away sent the world into an economic crisis... So it's a good thing I spent my money on the car over 18 months ago when it first came out.

Have fun buddy and lighten up a little...

Do you think there would be a difference in chassis flex if you change to the new split suspension mounts?

have any of you experienced wear on the aluminum universals? Mine are stretched out where the coupler fits into the bore, never seen this on a TC before?

Are the 20 tooth pulleys available and if so any part numbers? Do the belts have to be changed up as well? Again part numbers.

TBH, I tried them this weekend... and noticed naff all difference! Admitidly, need to do more back to back, but if anything, I felt like I had less front end than with the old blocks.... but I was also having the tyres drop off quickly, so could be more related.

Need to try it out on a more consistent track first

Thanks to everybody for the help on the Lipo trays. You were all very informative. I Just ordered the PPD Billet metal Inserts thats glue to the bottom of the battery. I like the idea of having weights under the battery and not having to worry about the battery being raised 1mm or hanging off the chassis or even those pesky polar bears.

P.S. Stein Tumert, thanks for the cool pics of your car.
