An even better idea is to shape the end of the screw round and sand it with very fine sandpaper. Not having any sharp edges means it can no longer damage the chassis at all no matter what and the problem is solved without the mess of gluing anything anywhere it was not meant to be glued.

yeah ok i see that is a good way to stop it whan the kit is new but i now have a chassis with 4 holes being bored into it !!!

want to fix this problem without having to buy a chassis plate !!!

i will square off the screws to stop further wear but want maybe i'll resin the chassis

Just have to align the blocks so that they aren't in the way of any screws, I also always clean off the chassis to make sure there is no grit or dust on it before I set it on the blocks.

It's really just something that happens with time, it shouldn't be effecting your cars performance at all...

Thats a nice design Mark, I wish we had that much space at SMA! One thing you might want to consider is a bit more variation in the corner radii, e.g. some squared off corners, double apexes, opening/tightening radius corners, etc. Your design looks similar to Whalan, which is good but some more variation would make it great... that's my 2c anyway, it looks like it'll be an awesome facility in any case - hopefully I'll make it down to Adelaide some time
