The suspension blocks and short arms are a must, but otherwise the only things you should look into are the spool and the 1pc top deck, and these aren't must haves - you only need the spool if you're running 13.5 or lower winds, and the top deck is just a tuning option, you can make the 2pc work in most circumstances

Plan to run the normal version on asphalt while the WE is kept for carpet racing...
In your opinion, which is better for the different surfaces? And should I change some of the 416 parts to WE version?

I have both the 416 and WE version while I'm kind of disheartened to run the WE on asphalt since it's new..
Plan to run the normal version on asphalt while the WE is kept for carpet racing...
In your opinion, which is better for the different surfaces? And should I change some of the 416 parts to WE version?

Assuming you're running short arms and wider blocks on the non-WE (no one uses the long arms), the only thing I'd swap would be the top decks as the 2pc would be better for carpet and I like the feel of the 1pc on asphalt. Other than that there's not much in it, WE's base setup is more asphalt focussed but if you want to keep it shiny there's no reason why you cant run the old one... man I wish I had 2
