Anyway, I 've got the second round of carpet wars this weekend... got a full day testing tomorrow (Yay!.... I know, I'm a geek, as the g/f would say...

I'm pretty sure I can improve the car over the last round, think it was a bit too stiff, and I have a few other settings to try out... I'll let you all know how I get on

Just some long steel screws. It's one of the things Ed suggests in his 416 tips section. It's only the block in the front that's flipped over that gives me trouble. I've heard from a number of other people that's a pretty well-known problem with the Tamiya cars.
That's really my only complaint. I wish I could buy one that's thicker, or made from steel or something. With LiPo, we really don't need bendy, fragile aluminum parts.

I recently bent my 1D block on the very back-end of my 415MRE with steel screws in place. Of course our local racing was getting very rough at the time...

I see most setups use a 1mm shim up front and .5 in the rear. Anybody know offhand what that brings the width to?
Also, if someone has the part number for the 1D bridge block, I'd like to give it a try and test its durability. :-)

I had a try to sum up Marc Rheinard'setup on a setup sheet by looking at those pics available all around the web.
I ended up with the following: setup sheet.
The sheet is far to be fulfilled and I'm looking for some TRF416 specialists to, first confirm what I get is right and, second to get more information about this setup.
I have mainly issues with:

I have mainly issues with:
Anti roll bar, what are the black one? Small, Medium, large?
Suspension mount spacer, Rear-Rear is 1E but the others, no clue!
Front and Rear springs
Caster block
Rear hub
And some more
So, if some could help me to sort that out, that 'll be nice!

Hi TRF experts,
Can I get a 2nd confirmation on whether the Front One Way Set for DB01 (54017) fits without any modifications to the 416WE?
DB01 Oneway items:
54023 DB01 Front One-Way Pulley (37T)
3455874 One-Way Housing
9808113 One-Way Joint (2 pcs.)
53577 TRF Damper Urethane Bushing (10 pcs.)
40120 2.6x5mm Screw (5 pcs.)
Based on what I listed from the original 416 the P/N for the one-way is different from the DB-01 One way set.
54023 Front one-way pulley 37T white
9444623 One-way joint
3454520 One-way housing
Any advise would be appreciatd. Thanks in advance.

Hey all,
A friend and myself just purchased 416WE and hope to receive them early next week. one car will be running a 540J class and will need a one way front diff. We have searched for the front one way but its not listed anywhere. Done the usual Tamiya USA part number grind and located the parts need however we are problems sourcing them individually. Is the Diff assembly similar/same as another car ( i was thinking possible 415msxx MRE?) and if so what would the part number be. We will also require some spare outdrives as our track has a tendency of swallowing them up
any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Anyone could confirm this problem?
Doubtly you have to making some adjustment to fix it, "dremeling" or try those motor heatsink ring to try to fit these motors.

Wait, as i know the motor mount doesn't fit "black and silver cans", you have to pay attention on this situation.
