I tried Victor's Reedy setup thinking it would be a good start for low grip, but no luck. :-(

It's probably the track. It's dusty, untreated asphalt, with only WD40 as sauce. The car never really turned right. The problem is, other guys have their cars turning incredibly well. I was using Sorex 28/32, and Jaco blues. I actually had the best luck with the Sweep Advantage tires, but they're impossible to find now.

If you guys are having trouble with steernig on tarmac try one of the setups Ed, Vincent (veecee), or I posted a few pages back
edit: they are all here http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/tami...miyaTRF416.htm
If you still have problems your diff is probably too tight, or your tyres are shot

I have also had a lot of push with the TRF416, but I am finally homing in on a setup that works on outdoor asphalt. However, my setup is absolutely nothing like the setups that are being posted in this thread. The point is don't be afraid to move far from the setups that the factory drivers are using.

I'm not running anymore asphalt for a while (praise be thy name), but when I was having this trouble, it was always with fresh tires. Taking the sway bars off entire did seem to give more steering overall, but introduced other issues. If I get stuck running asphalt again next season, I'm tempted to try a plastic TA05. That thing should generate some grip, huh?

There is too much weight to the rear of the car. I moved the entire chassis forward by using the suspension spacers. Also used soft sways in the front and higher roll center for the rear. Rear toe is 2deg. Used the inner hole for the steering knuckle and got pretty good amount of ackerman. Now the car almost turns too much.

I don't have my car yet, so I can't help as far as giving a setup to those who are having problems with the car pushing, but after seeing the video from the Euro's and watching Marc's car on the track, there is definately a way to get a ton of steering out of the car.
As soon as I get mine going, I'll post a setup, my cars usually have a ton of steering and very little rear traction, but traction should be easy to dial in to find a happy medium for most everyone.
