I see a lot of 416 coming out for sale in the second hand market. I wonder what is wrong since I like the car. Anyone has any idea(s)?

Unless I missed it, the only blocks for the 416 are the stock ones. I could buy up a bunch of 415 blocks, as they'll work, but that's a lot of coin to drop if the proper 416 blocks are going to be released. I'd rather have the right parts for the car. It's not a big deal, but does seem a bit odd.

I do no think they will lanuch a new car so soon. I think it would be after the World Championships in Nov. The car is good, winning like mad... and has such a high demand... although I got 2! xD
The fact is Tamiya would not want to let their rivals in on their the set up. I think any car would only be after World Championships and if it is won by a Tamiya driver, it would be named after him... any bets on Marc or Jilles or...? TRF 416 MS-MRE?
Although in typical Tamiya fashion and marketing... I think ALOT of hop ups and upgrades are on its way.

Where have all these rumours about tamiya releasing a new kit come from??
Like previously mentioned the TRF416 seems to be leading the pack.
Although we do have a an old saying here in good old blighty,
"theirs no smoke without fire".
