That should put you in the ball park, though.

I have found that a Novak motor with the 13mm sintered rotor will be geared very similarly to the LRP 13.5/sintered.
I was at around a 48mm rollout and I was ROCKIN'!!

syndr0me or anyone else,

Have you tested the new Trinity Duo 13.5 or 10.5 motors? I've been told they're basically a carbon copy of the Orion motors.

Brian,

I haven't, but they're very clearly Feigao, just like the Orion motors. It's possible there are minor differences, like what size rotor they decided to use, but I doubt you'll see much difference between them otherwise. It's the same company that makes the motors SpeedPassion is turning out.

I personally found the Orion 13.5 inferior to the Novak and LRP 13.5 in terms of performance, and a few others have said the same. It does look like they're experimenting with new rotors, though, so many they'll get things going.

Is it cause the GTB is rejecting the LRP like a bad liver transplant or, have I forgotten to adjust the suck control??

BTW: thanks for the info syndr0me, I'll be gankin my fans out tonight
I have both motors and they are very comparable. The LRP has more bottom end. The Novak has a little more top end and it also has a smoother power band.

Anyone know if this thing can run a 13.5 motor?

http://www.shopatron.com/product/par...65.26354.0.0.0

Its the Novak Super Sport crawler ESC. Just wonderin how capable it is in regular non-crawling situations...cuz if it is then the price its at becomes much more attractive

The downloadable manual from team novaks website says it will go down to 8.5. Here is the link to the manual...

I got to test out my new GTB 13.5 today. Everytime I turn the esc on the motor spins for a second or two. I always have my radio on first then the esc. Does anyone else have this problem? Can it be fixed?

Thank you, I am new to Novak electronics.

If you have a Spektrum just re-bind it,that will fix your problem.

what radio do you have? With my M11 with spektrum i had to turn on the radio wait a few seconds then turn on the esc, if i turned the esc immediately after turning on the radio the same thing would happen.
