These guys seem to think it is indeed a Feigao motor. Shocking, I know...

Heres a rookie question for you.
If there are sensored and sensorless, then whats the difference and what does the sensor do ?

I race offroad with my Mamba system and have no problems with it at all. It has always worked flawlessly from day one and even in my touring car with the Orion 13.5 only has a small stutter but that will be changing really soon. I find the Mamba Max to be relaible and never ever thermals and I figure you can't win any races if my stuff thermals all the time. Last weekend 3 guys thermaled out of the 13 mod buggies they had.

And this is why if rolling backwards after a crash you can apply forward throttle and move forward with the Novak.
With the Mamba you have to wait for it to stop rolling backwards.
Totally sucks in off road rolling down a jump.

Its strange how some people have problems and some don't with the same equipment. Never have to wait with my Mamba and either do the other 3 guys running them at the offroad track last week.

I found with the Novak throttle input was more sensitive. Just touch the throttle and it would respond. The feel to describe it was like taking a limp rubber band and stretching it.
The response was dictated by the speed in which I pulled the trigger. Rolling on and off the throttle was as good if not better than any motor I have ever ran.
Brushed or brushless.

With the Mamba bottom end throttle response was like a fully stretched rubber band and letting go of it.
The hesitation on the bottom was 1st then throttle response. Weird feeling.
And powering out of a turn the throttle would stall or thermal and then respond again.
It was very difficult to roll on and off the throttle. The temps would get hot enough to light a smoke and still run thermal is not part of the equation.
Some of this is attributed to the tuning profiles to. Talk a about tuning files.
Mamba is off the chart. If they can perfect senseless the way Novak has perfected Sensored????????Look out.

But heres what I did find out. Out of the LRP, Mamba and Novak.
The Novak was the most efficient. Crucial for Sub-c racers.
Then LRP then Mamba.
The heat is what dictated that I would assume.
Some say its because there putting more power to the motor and that could very well be so?
But when I was running 20 minute mains, Novak ruled the day every time.
And was more forgiving to the battery to the tune of approx. 5 or 6 minutes.

In my judgment sensored is the best all round.

But like I always say, I'm not the Wizard. Just trying to be.

GO FAST AND TRY NOT TO CRASH !

Just curious? If your rolling down a hill backwards do you have wait for the timing to catch up before it will move forward.

I find the LRP TC Spec has a smoother throttle feel than the GTB throughout the entire range. I'm not sure if you've run the new one X, but LRP got it really right this time around.

The GTB is great too, and in its defense, a few years old now. I'm sure Novak isn't standing idly by, and probably has an answer to it in the works.

It takes off I would say almost instantly but lets say it isn't as instant as my brushed motors are.

If I'm just trying to go as absolutely slow as possible like a rock crawler I can get it to back up slightly but when I'm running it normally or racing then it never does that.
