I can't speak for the Honda, but the Ferrari has a Yeah Racing 10.5 with a 35amp esc, and I'm still using 6c Nic's.

I was thinking about replacing the two Alum. screws that hold the front arems and the wing with something a little better. But after some thought, I think that those softer Alum. screws are there to break away instead of tearing up the chassie? Any thoughts?

That would be a bad crash

I switched to steel, stock seems to strip pretty quick. The f104 titainium screw kit has a Ti version included

I use some stainless steel screws I picked up from Home Depot. Some might complain about weighing down an already twitchy front end, I feel it was balanced out by my lighter 1/12th scale servo shoe goo'ed in place after ditching the blue allow plates to secure said servo.

If your bending the aluminum screws you probably need to replace the arms...the plastic tabs that index into the chassis should prevent any movement of the arms which would bend the screw. You do need to make sure to use the right sized screwdriver for them though as the head strips easily if you do not.

Hey guys, I am pretty excited I just picked up a lightly used f103 15Ann. and I am just about to place an order for a Tekin and 21.5 redline. I am wondering what upgrades or spares I should also order. I don't know much about the F1 cars, and am just getting into the onroad stuff....Should I get the F104 diff? How about the soft T-bar? Any advice would be very helpful.....thanks in advance.....

Woohoo - count me in. I've always thought F1 was cool but heard that the surface makes a huge impact on how they run. You think the asphalt there will be okay for these cars?

I really thought about it when the HPI Formula 10 came out. Can anyone give me some good reasons not to get the HPI and go with a Tamiya?

I picked up a couple of T-Body F103 shells from Tamiya USA. It is one of the bodies that came with one of the F103RM kits.

RC Body: 84031
Item# 1825539 $22.50 each. Not sure how many they have left.

It also looks like they have an M-body in stock.

RC Body: 84032
Item # 1825540 $33.00 each.

You might need the following with the M-Body since it is the raised nose car.
RC Fnt Wing/Nose Cone: 84032
Item # 9334128 $9.00 each

If you order them you need to use the 7 digit item number.

Hope this helps.
