Default Where can I buy GQ sedan foam tires???

I am interested in ordering some GQ sedan foams on-line... Probably 28mm foams or whatever size is good for an 007 X-ray.

I need some help on finding a US distributor or a few websites that I can buy them from. I have only found a few by doing a google search.... But I am sure a few guys on this board can point me in the right direction.

I am only interested in GQ right now... So please do not tell me something like buy JACO's or something like that...

Any help is appreciated

That's fine, but I know many will be intested as to why you don't want JACO or any other brand than GQ..

Is this the tire people run at your track? If so, they have to be getting them from somewhere local, so sometimes your local racers are the best source of information like this.

The most commonly used brands/models are JACO and PARMA, specifically the JACO 26mm 2-stage tires, or the Parma Pro 53 tires.

I've used them all, and while I can't say the GQ's are the fastest, they're definitely the most durable. They're by far the best glued, and the least likely to chunk. I found they worked pretty good in low traction, but when we sprayed the track they were too stuck. I guess I could have experimented with other compounds.

Get the C2 compounds if you're going to run them on a EP sedan on carpet. Red/Tan fronts and Tan rears seem to be closest to the popular choices from other companies.

Don't you mean Red/Tan fronts and Tan rears? This combo worked well for 19T sedan on carpet. Red/Magenta fronts and Magenta rears works well for stock.

Yep, sorry, it's late and I'm sleepy. I corrected my post.

GQ tires are great tires. They look good too.

Competition RC is the main distributor (I think).

My lhs sells them so I just get them there. If you're in the Dallas area you can check out www.mikeshobbyshop.com

makes sense since no one runs foams on carpet anymore, but I know the nitro guys still run them and some guys that don't have a rubber rule at their track, so I figured I'd post.

It's Gordon the USA distributor at hotlapracingusa.com. It's all I've been running for over a year in WGT.

The WGT wheels look cool
Never tried them though as they are not on any Roar race, or any other major US event, spec tire list

How do the USA Spec tires compare to Jaco, and BSR ?
