Default Team Cobra Trackside Truer

my motor siezed up that came with this truer.. can i just put a stock motor in as a replacement?

I would recomend putting a sealed can Tamiya type motor in. A stock motor would work and have a little more power but with the timing of the motor it might get really hot.
