Default So I'm Learning Inventor

Maybe one of these days I can help you guys design some stuff. I'm taking Parametric Modeling this semester and we are learning Inventor and SolidWorks concurrently. Here is my progress one week into Inventor. I can't figure out how to make the spring compress though even though it is mated properly as far as I can tell and it is set to flexible. It was created with the spring generator. I'm going to start on a carbon chassis design tomorrow. This is for a TA05. This is a stock TA05 shock and I'm just playing around taking close measurements in MM with a ruler. I have to do a final project in another class and I'd like to make the entire RC car in 3d and make it work. Dunno if I'm gonna get that good though.
