Default motor fans

looking for a nice fan setup for my mamba max

Im looking at either 2 x 25mm wired to esc
OR
1 x 40mm wired to rx.

I plan to use the team tamale clamp on fan mount for the 25mm fans, where with the 40mm fan ill just zip-tie to the upper frame of my chassis.

Is there a specific brands out there that offers the best performing fan, or are any brand fans adequate for this type of application. Thanks in advance...

I got two tamale fan mounts, they work great. I've tried a few different fans and the ones that I found to push the most air are the Novak fans, they are expensive, but they are the best my LHS had, it would be nice to get a bunch of opinions here, I'm sure there are stronger fans out there.

I have not tried the novak fans but I have noticed my Muchmore fans work pretty well. Do not use 3-racing fans as they get affected by the motor (when using a brushed motor anyway) and will slow right down near the magnets.

Here are a few sources for fans that work really well. I use ones from the first link. At 3.5 cfm at 5 volts, these move more air air than most any other fan. Hook them up straight to 7.2 volts and they really move some air.

This one has a metal case.

i have mine hardwired to batt pack so that the fan can continue cooling down the motor while i turn marshall. I also put on a voltage regulator after frying up a brand new MM fan before end of race day
