Exclamation Foam Tire Size

Looking at getting some data here on foam wheels:

When you true your tires, what millimeter are you truing too?
60mm?
50mm?
Etc.............

What surface are you primarily running those trued foams on?

Concrete?
Carpet?
Asphalt?

I found good sucess with a variety of compounds, double purple, purple, red, magenta and plaids are my most common. I true down the first time to 60 mm. I use this rule for indoor carpet and also electric and nitro asphalt.

For Carpet - Plaid/Purple, 60-61 mm for club racing

For big races or if you want the usual best tire size 58 mm is just about right. I'd go about 60 mm though because then you get more life out of them...but they are easier to chunk that way...so don't hit too much.

for stock i usually start with 59-60mm for stock and retrue them in between racedays. for mod i will usually start with 56-57mm area. this is for carpet only.

I actually go 59.5mm..... why the 1/2 mm??? Hell I don't know I think I saw it on a T. Hodge, or M. Francis set-up sheet once and now it's etched into my brain...LOL

You where talking touring tires right??? Cause 1/12th scale and pro 10 would be way different!!!
