Default TL01 with Velineon...plausible or meltdown?

I just got done building a new TL01 that I hopped up (ball diff with front one-way, universal shafts, GPM heatsink, carbon shaft, roll bars, etc..) but I'm questioning whether this monocoque chassis can handle brushless power...I've never gone brushless so I'm not sure how hot they run but someone told me that if I were to use the Traxxas Velineon system in this chassis, it would most likely strip the spur or melt the gears...anyone who's owned a TL01 knows how restrictive the motor is and I've heard many horror stories about stripped spurs in the TL01 with torqey motors...is it true though? Should I just get another chassis? Anybody with TL01 experience...please advise...thanks

negative, negative negative. I ran a P-94 trinity 7 double and while the speed was nice, the heat generated melted the motor end (top where the pinion is) to the chassis. Even if it isnt that hot, putting the pack in there to push the velineon will only be a stick configuration and the heat will cause thermals guaranteed. Dont do it.
