Make sure you don't have a battery connected to the ESC when you try to do PC comms.

150 is for 1/8th scale - can deal with big voltages. Not sure there is much point for 10th!

My son has been running the GM120 for some time already and he keeps complaining about the lacks of brakes on the speedo.

Can somebody suggest a good ESC setting for both 10.5 and 6.5 with Lipo

The ESC has the 4.7 firmware

Regards

Personally I would suggest more initial breaks on the PC settings. Breaks was something that felt a little strange to me when i first switched. Myself and Chris G (and a few others i think) run initial breaks up at 40. It is a very personal thing, some like it, some don't.

I don't think break settings are any different between current and FW4.7 - i'm sure Martin will correct me if i'm wrong! 4.9 was the first FW that I ran. There is an option under "reserved" for new break software. I run this all the time, but i'm not 100% sure which FW this became available.

There is some Novak suggest about rollout:

With 5.5T start with about 30-32mm and test for speed and temp of engine

Def of rollout is simple: diameter(mm) tire x pinion x 3.14 / spur = rollout mm, for example, 44x24x3.14/94=35,27mm

OK, here some feedback from our tests at the European Pancar Series.

We ended up with driving a GM-8 Delta in combination with MODE-2 sensorless. Within 1:12 scal its not all about rollout as you also want to minimize rotating mass and driving-hight. Normally our gar go's quite well with 43 - 44 mm rear tires. Based upon this we did see the best result with a ratio of +/-5 and a rollout of 28. Dont forget is also depending upon the track.

I'm having trouble getting the brakes to work very well on my 120..
(no trouble getting it to go forwards very well though!! )

even if i turn them up to 100 they still dont seem very good.
how do i set the speed controller to my transmitter again?
the instructions dont seem too clear on this.

thanks

Hi

I am having a issue with setting up my GM120, I can send the data to the speedo but when i receive the data it hasn't saved it and just shows up the factory settings. Matt W has tried to fix it but has had no luck with it (Very appreciated for trying to fix it tho Matt ) Does any else have any other ideas that could solve the problem?

Regards

Hi I have a gm 120 and i have a few questions
When you run a nosram 5.5 motor without a sensor wire what do you set the timing at in a 12th?

On my nosram evo esc i used to use the atl on my handset to alter the throw of the brakes now it makes the car go forward is there any way to stop this?
Or do i have to do this on the pc?
Thanks
