Hi everybody,
It seems that I will have to help my friends and lend them my esc for next racing event. Problem is, that they will drive in 13.5T + Lipo or LiFe class, has anyone idea which program or what setting should I use in 7.2 software esc's?
Motors will be Pro 13.5 and Sport 13.5.

Martin can you help?

I have a few simple questions please:-

Is it possible to get a firmware or software upgrade for this ESC?

Can i use the USB cable (GM7168.6 Genius USB Interface Cable) to setup the 80r ESC? (If i cannot use the USB lead then do i get any extra benefit from the programing box 7152 over using the TX to setup the ESC???

I also noticed on the GM website this:-

Programmierung 7154 und 7157
HOT!

I take it is saying that the instructions are incorrect and to select sensored if you wish to use sensorless and vice versa???
I ended up mailing GM and got a very quick response...

Dear Daniel Matjasz,

for this speedo no USB or update is available.

The english instruction is right, just german and french is wrong.

The programmer box 7230 you can order at the next graupner shop or I think Schumacher.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen /

Hi All
I've currently got Martin's 'Hot 13.5 Lipo Program' on my GM120, and it is fantastic at one series i run at as the carpet gives loads of grip, but at another series i run at the carpet gives nowhere near as much grip and i am sliding around a lot.
What settings should i look at altering to tame the power delivery for this other venue to make it less aggresive.
Thanks in advance.

Default GM 120 v2

Another question for Martin / GM!

Is the PC software going to be new on the Gen 2 120, or the same as current?

Any changes to make it easier to use?

Thanks

Maybe even more important; will the esc's firmware be downloadable and installlable at home?
Martin?

new pc software and new fileformat (.gd2)

the software has been restructured to make it easier to use.

there will be the possibility to update the speedo yes

Sounds sweet.

How is it (prototypes) currently holding against the Advanced and the new LRP in stock?

Thanks.

Hi Martin, you seem to be knowing more
So will old esc be able to use new software? Old I mean both G50-100 and 90-120.
Will new software be better or only easier? And finally, will user be able to update esc?

Default GM120

Attention Martin / GM

I have just received my GM120 with new firmware installed. I will be trying the speedo setting I read a few pages back for the 120 when using a 13.5

Is their a setting available when using a 10.5?

Last but not least does the new GM120 have new firmware?

Regards,
