Here's a Speed Setup for 13,5 / 17,5T with Lipo and

FIRMWARE 7.2!!

please only use this setting for FW72

before putting that program on,
read out your speedo,
then save the transmitterdata to your pc,
load that setting,
load your just saved transmitter data,
send to the speedo

have fun

it might work if you can find a really good cooling fan :-)
it will be ballisitic in any case

for 10.5/5cell change the undervoltage cutoff to 3,6V and use the soft powercurve

it's a setting by me, there is not mistake in it ...

the sensor setting is worthless and doesn't matter at all ... it's just a information and has nothing to do with the actual speedo program

it's mode 2 I think but it doesn't matter anyway with FW72
all modes are the same / can be programmed the same
note that the background copying process doesn't work therefore!

So, Martin you said that NOW with NEW soft we don't need sensor wire for
spec/stock engines??? Are you sure?

Have you done some test and without sensor is better?

I'm sorry for asking, but up to update without sensor stock engines was
badly slower then with sensor setup
:-)

Regards!

No read it carefully

you wrote sensor = 0, should be 1

this option is just information for the user and not an actual setting of the speedo. The speedo detects wether it's used sensored or sensorless

for additional timing you need a sensorwire

When ordering a new speedo you might want to ask for an updated one.
You can get them with firmware 7.2. With that you are prepared for whatever the rules will be like in the new season.

So feel free to order your speedo now.

They are available again now.

Eh,
Martin, there is some big mess in my knowledge ... I read this forum and now got big f*** confused.

Sometimes you wrote that sensorwire is need or not.

Need for stock/spec engines for higher power (new software from 4.9 to new one, provides change timing when reach some rpms).

Don't need for modified engines (it is correct for me, tested on 4.9 in E12).

So, if I need more power (last time copy 6 to 3, this mean I override data
in mode 3 buy 8) I should have sensor wire for spec racing, without it, there is no power. If I remember, sometimes I set data by pc and forget switch
to sensored (Sensored = 0 in ESC), has plugged sensor wire and car was
slow, no power, no rpms. When resetup data by pc, and set SENSORED,
situation changed, biger power and rpms then before.

Now, I gonna test my new upgraded esc with stock engine, and check it how it works now. With plugged sensors, unplugged or something.

Without it, I stop believe to this forum, because there is some mistake or what?

Regards!
m.

ps: no offence, Martin, I want clear my mind and know how it best work for me with spec/stock engines

you always need a sensor wire for anything but fast mod motor 5.5 or lower really.

13.5, 17.5, 10.5 always need sensor wire, or you will not get the extra timing.
