Anyone have a good GM120 speedo setting for a 1S lipo and 10.5T in a GT10 car?

I know this is in the wrong section but this seems to be "The GM" thread, so:

If I was looking to run the 120 in 4wd opffroad, what would be the best settings to go for, and motor? As in would I need to be advancing timing etc or is that a spec class thing really?

Also, when is the next esc update due, if I was to buy one I'd rather wait a few weeks than get an immediately obselete esc/firmware?

Dave, I haven't tried one in off rd, as I haven't really done a lot of off rd this year. However, based on what I know, i'd just put it on mode 3 and forget about it.

As for motor, can kind of run what ever you want really! In 4wd I think most people are running 6.5 or 5.5. GM don't currently list a 5.5 in the latest series of motors. Not sure about Delta winds in off rd, can't think of any real reason why not. 9 turn would probably be quite fast!!

As for Speedo versions, 7.2 I believe is the latest release. I think there are some coming into the UK now like this, but i think it is still the "transition" period.

the speedos get deliverd with fw4.9 unless the shop/distributor orders FW7.2 speedos.

Then they get updated before the are sent out by GM.

just put it in mode 3, run sensorless and forget about it ...

9T delta would probably be your best bet

Can a gm90 run a 6t delta with 5 cells? If not can somebody help me with speedo settings for 6.5 lipo please

gen90 can do 5cell 6T

for 6.5 use mode 3 with mode 8 background as per stock how-to

Just thinking bout picking one of these up 2nd, how do I go bout upgrading the firmware over in uk.

Is there any setting that work well with 1s lipo and wgt10?

New to speedo with pc links any help would be greatly appreciated
