Hi Guys, could any one out there who knows please tell me what the difference is between these 2 motors thanks:

#1 BRUSHLESS EVO3 #6 7T delta wound, Order number 97226. EUR 80,

#2 BRUSHLESS GM PRO 7T delta wound ,Order number 97287. EUR 59,95

Which of these 2 motors is better for top level competition and what exactly is the difference,, Thanks in advance.

Basically just the case, evo3 is timable -> necessary for a lrp esc

Pro features fixed timing, more lightweight case and fanless rotor

I prefer pro

Default GM Motors

Would the "Pro" 7t be better for 6 cell/ or would the 6T still make time at RCS in thailand do u think? Also would the PRO motors work with the Quark ESC as this has inbuilt adj timing. Thanks again for all your help

quite sure you cannot dump with 6 cells nomatter what you do

but 6T will be a lot less controlable for sure

most drivers use a 4T there as 3.5 seems to be too much already

the motors do have a hardware timing of 30°

The PRO 7T delta does have more torque. Should be very good for Thailand.
You may also use 12mm magnets for more smooth driving.
The Evo 3 7T will be even more smooth with 12mm or 12.5mm magnet.

Gearing for a 7T Delta with std rotor and Nosram ISTC? I race indoors on carpet. Fast track, laptimes around 11.5s. Five cells.

I think the 7T delta could be geared about 1:8,0 with the Nosram speed controller.

Anyone has the specs for GM PRO 12T?
Those arent available yet on GM webpage.

Its to be used on a pro10,currently Im with a evo3 5.5 on a big 1/8 track fdr 4.28 and its f**k amazing, but not for weak at heart
Lower pinion will make corner exit and aceleration difficult.
So I believe a softer motor would help handling.

Any sugestions within Gm brushless range?

The 12T is similar to a 6.5T star winding.
It works good on small PRO10 tracks.

For 1:12 racing we have the 2898.12 in heat shrink.
