ah yeah sorry, you still set the exakt amout of amps

90 is about the same a 95, 120 is better

you can get the software on your 95 updated, then you can set the cutoff voltage to whatever value you want it to

I've already done it Great update, now I have to do it in my G85 as it doesn't arm with fresh charged 4S liion
Frankly speaking I want to buy some ESC for my emaxx up to 6s and after your speedos any other are so god damn poor...almost no features which I want, such a loss that you don't make one strong ESC up to 6s with your software, it would be a hit worldwide as no one makes something so reliable and full of setup possibilities.

It might be an old question, as well, but worth to ask....

Our rules allows foam on asphalt, lipo (Trakpower 4900 - SMC...) and BL (Vector 4.5)

This season I toast 3 Blue TC ones....

Does the Genius 120 withstand those factor?

I'm sick about toasting ESCs....

Let me know

Thanks

Same happens to me. One Red one with only 3 races and some practices toasted too. With a Genius 95 that I have for 1 and a half year is still working nicely. My 120 as only some practices but I'm sure that it will be the same as the 95!

it will last yes

but please add 2 small (same as built in at the esc) or one big (4700microF) cap just for saftey matters as due to the high voltage of 6 cells and the ampraw the 3 caps might break (the top part with the cross on it bends slightly) and you will loose a lot of power ...

Hi Martin

GM PRO 5T or 6T says
Operating voltage range: 4,8V...6V

Im going to use a lipo battery 7,4V, so my question is
it will be better to use a GM PRO 7T or can i use 5T and 6T also

which will be more efficient?
If i can use 5T or 6T do i have to have any additional precaution?

thanks

stick with a 7

6t might be still ok if you are careful enough but 5 is only dedicated for 5cell racing and actuallly there are very few people using it as it is already too fast using 5 cells....

Default Genius 95 Problem

Hi Martin,

I'm having a problem with my Genius 95, it keeps cutting out. Last weekend I ran GM 6t on an open track geared at 6.8 (recommended by another GM user).

Initially the car was sluggish, but I put this down to my cells as they're not the best and also altered softstart from 100 to 50 as it says in the manual. This got the car flying, but after 3 laps or so the car would cut out. It would restart after a little while (30+ secs) so I changed reserved to 23 but had exactly the same problem. When I got to the car the motor and the speedo were warm (35deg C), but not hot. All of the other settings are as per your posting on here and I'm running the capacitor bank. I don't run a motor or speedo fan, could this be the cause? Or should I send the speedo to GM for investigation? Could it be the cells dipping in voltage and cuasing the speedo to reset?

TIA

Ian

If yes which timming did you setup on esc?

I know this is GM thread, but Im on a 2wd offroad project using my old genius80,I know I could use one of my GM Evo3 on it,but since its case is opened I dont wanna trash it on offroad.

Thanks in advance
