Thanks Martin, but just to be clear.
I own a Genius95 bought in August97 and Im currently using AS-Tool 1.1.1,is this harmfull to Genius?I just dont have access to the new functions, those are ignored by the old firmware present in Genius esc.Right?

Martin,

I will assume you made your flight in the end then.

Again, thank you for the use of the speedo, I'm glad I could do some "destructive" testing for you.

Hopefully see you back next year for some more fun in the sun

Hi Martin,

I'd like to try the Genius 120 but I'm meeting some trouble with the software Genius_Setup_01_01_01.
Downloading the file is ok but I have the following Error Message when I want to execute it: "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program".

Do you know how to solve this issue? or Did any one meet the same thing before?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Martin,

Yes, some of my friends and I (different PC configurations, XP or Vista) did downloaded the file many times but we still have the same error message when we'd like to unzip it (with different zip programs such as Winzip, Alzip, WinRar, etc.).
Is it possible to put the .exe file directly on the GM-Racing web site? The size would not be that much affected.

Thank for your help.

I'll check with GM and see if we can find a problem.

Ralf is on holidays now so it might take some time though.

I guess best thing would be me to upload the software to either my blog or this forum ...

I am back @ home on monday and see if I can figure out a proper way ...

it will work but will get quite warm for sure

I'd suggest to use the additional top heatsink and put a fan (I used muchmore 25mm on the genius 95) on top of it to keep temps down.

I'd start with a gearing arond 8.3 and work from there

Use around 150A amplimit or even little less to make it easier to drive

Hi Martin,

Just wondering if you've found something to help us about the GM120 software.
Please let me know.

Tschüss.
