Any news on the GM120?

Was looking at the GM85..............looks the same as the GM100, whats the difference apart from price. I'm guessing the 100 can handle hotter motors.

Whats the motor limit for the GM85?

Anyone know who stocks them.

How do you convert delta winds to Star winds? I am looking for a 6.5T or 5.5T but in Delta wind.
Tnx

Assuming the patterns the same

6.5t delta=3.5 star wound
6T delta=3.0 star wound
5.5T delta-2.5 star wound

I will stand corrected though

The Genius 120 is now displayed on the Graupner on-line shop.

After a very long search on websites, to calculate delta into Star. Divide delta by 1.7 = star.

6T delta = 6/1.7 = 3.5T Star.

yes ... basicly that is correct

but if you get to test both motors you will find that the 6T delta is like a 3T star in terms of power but more like a 3.5T when it comes to runtime

I have an 8t on the way and I will dyno it and compare to a novak 4.5 and 5.5. About time we had some proper data instead of guesstimates .

The Deltas will never compare excatly because the power band is more horspower biased.

I've run the 8t in my bike and performance was excellent. I should have some time to do dyno tests on wednesday.

I going to get a 12mm rotor as torque was a bit too much for a small track. I have resorted to reducing epa to 80% and gearing up to calm it down and motor still runs cool. Very happy with it .
