It's actually pretty easy to set-up the speedo without PC, just
read the manual, and try it out some times, when You get the
hang of it, its simple.
A lot of super good and usefull features

A tip: Try the ABS braking - it works really amazing!

Yes ABS with good feel !

Sorry i am a little confused - is there an old 95 and a new 95? If so what is the part number of the new 95.

Would it be worth waiting for the 100 rather than going for the 95? Where can i get them from apart from direct with GM?

RC Market I don't know what you had done to the one you ran but I've had one since the euro's and it has been flawless in its performance and I have never had a temp issue at all. I don't run a heat sink on the top of the ESC and I only run the optional heat sink on the side of the ESC.

I had 4 sensors fail at the euro's but this was due to the heat and poor quality of the cheaply manufactured sensored. The sensors have subsequently been re solders (on the back on the sensor plug) and they are all working fine. As MattW it's the same for all of the GM/ORION/SPEED PASSION motors not just localised to the GM motors.

The part no is the same for the new 95, there was a production stoppage this year and they decided to update the 95 with the circuitry and software that is in the 100 and 80. Not sure if there is a distributor in the US yet, from the specs the 100 is not worth the extra money to me.

I thought Fantom was the US distributor? They've got the motors on their page, but I didn't see the ESC's.

I believe Schumacher is the UK distributer for the GM motors.

Hi Paul

Steve from Sidcup here.

Demon did put the GM 100 on the website down in the new products for september, but now have removed it, quite an attractive price aswell at 150.

Havent got a clue why they removed it......

Ohwell maybe they will put it back up soon, just keep your eyes peeled

Hi Steve

Yeah i noticed that, its what peeked my interest in the first place!
Been looking to get back up to sidcup again, hopefully next week work and wife permitting!

Curious about how the speedo works with brushed motors ie how is it connected? Any ideas?
Also it runs sensorless i believe? does that mean you can connect sensored motors but juts not connect the sensor leads?

Cheers for any other help/info

Paul

Nice neat install MSB!
Is the 100 bigger than the 95? Anyone got any pics of the 100 in their touring car?
Cheers

Paul

Thanks mutley,

The Genius 100 case is slighty bigger than the 95.
