Timing on the Motor can: 10 degrees per hole

One thing to say about it: DON'T change it. Use standard

If you are running any timing on the speedo, then yes, don't change it..but for blinky you can try different motor timing.

Hi Chris and all got it all going now and have set the capacity cutoff correct and all i can say is wow it was the best day of racing i have ever had i had 3rd going into the A finals and this is where it all went wrong they decided to run only 1 final so 12 drivers of mixed abilities should have just gone home and though the car around the work shop lots as it was like banner racing
they just would not let you go even though you where 6 laps up!!!

Hi there,
I'm a new member of this website and I'm from Italy, I posted this reply because I bought a new gm genius since a couple of weeks and I have some problems with the set up of timing. Just this sunday I stay against some speedpassion and xerun and I lose miserably.
This is my set up:
gm 120 gen II
gm pro metal 10.5
I have ticked : high speed timing and variable dependence timing
fixed 20
max 21
timing with sensors : +30
timing 1-2 :150
turbo 1
I worked from mode 8
timing on the motor : center hole (as i have bought it)
Temp: ext mot 73
int " 100
esc 69
(data taked by telemetry)
gear ratio 7.5
External temp 10-15
(I'm using an heat sink with cooler fan)
I need more punch at low speed and better acceleration
I hope you can help me
thank you everyone

My initial reaction is 7.5 may be undergeared, what sort of size track is it ?

Enable the switchpoint and set it to about 15000RPM (if you haven't already). Also set the drive frequency to 4KHz.

unfortunatly I 'm not allowed to post any url at the moment but if you type on google "modellismo gianni piste" you can find it on the third title
I'll try to enable the switching point but lots of other guys tell me to don't use, sincerely I can't understand why.
I'm currently on 8kz , surely I'll put it on 4kz
For the fix and max timing I should change something?
Thanks for the help.
