I ran std mode 2 (other than brakes) and 38mm rollout with a 7t delta, so an 8t would definitely need to be higher !

I find them more powerful than the 'equivalent' star wind and smoother out of a corner.

Hi Chris
Do you run a sensor wire? As some say you should and some say not to
Ya i found that it feels like the car is more stable and consistent thought the power curve.
can't wait till next weekend meeting in Plymouth.

Are you running in the nats this year??

+1
smoother all the powerband, not only when cornering.
Bought 4 different Delta wound motors since i've tried the first.

there is 2 different 12.5 rotors! the ones with the red faceplate with a smaller inner diameter and therefore a stronger magnetic feel than the ones with a purple or silver-greyish faceplate, that have a bigger inner diameter (Efra Stock). The purple ones are super smooth and keep the motor temperatures a bit lower but overall also give you a bit less power

So would the purple rotor rev higher if geared right as there is less resistance from the magnet?

No.

Basically, if you need power, don'T use it unless you are force to, by regulations

Hi need a guide as to what gear ratios people are running there 17.5s at?

I am using the GM75 speedo with Martins basic setup on, on a small to medium high grip carpet track

My motor is the GM 97357 17.5?
