Think I have the telemetry settings correct now,
http://s346.photobucket.com/albums/p...lementry-1.jpg

and on the acceleration page should 'Power curve be the same as my 'Mode' 9 ? or left at 0 no timing or power curve ? Is everything else correct on the acceleration page ?

SAW, yeah looks like you've got that about right. The power curve setting has no effect when "High speed timing" is selected.

Has anyone tried playing about with the turbo function?

Last meeting i kept dropping my current limit down until it was right for the in field but did find i was losing some punch for getting down the straight. Would this be a good case for increasing the turbo function?

Thanks, so I should have 'High speed timing' ticked ? what excatly does HST switching rpm' do ?

I ran it tonight for the first time indoors with 6.0fdr but it lacked punch infield so dropped a couple of teeth on the pinion which helped, was this right or is there something in the software to give me more punch infield ?

Thanks.

Yes we had to use the SP speedo. Pure rubish. If you watch the videos of A2 and 3 you can see that my speedo did not move properly from the line. Superslow at first. this is why cars crashed into mine in A2 ...

I practiced with GM motor and speedo though.
If you are interested you can have the setting for that but basically it'S just unticking HST and go

you dont use HST for 13.5?

I cant imagine running without HST for spec class's. Although to be honest, I have not tried without it. I will assume its like running tekin 203 without turbo.

I'm using mode 9 most of the time, and adjust the fix timing to suit temp, sometimes going as high as 30.

I believe Martin wanted to simulate the sp combo for training since he had to use the sp esc with no timing advance later in the race.

Although you asked Martin
The max fdr for the ets race in kastellaun was 4.5
So I assume most of the guys used 4.5 or a notch less.

Hi,

At the weekend I ran my GM75 with a GM 13.5t @ 4.82fdr and was really pleased with it. It's so much smoother to drive than my Tekin and quieter ? I'll be getting another for my indoor car

I had 'High Speed Timing' ticked but not 'HST switching point' so does that mean the timing only comes in at full throttle or whatever the throttle postion is at ? I never tried it with HST switching ticked.

If I have both unticked would this give me 0deg timing ?

Can I just have 'HST switching' ticked this then add's the timing at the specific rpm, right ?

What happens with both 'HST' and HST switching' ticked ?

Thanks.

if only HST is ticked timing is ALWAYS there unless you also tick variable depence timing or timing at full throttle.

hst with switchpoint makes the timing kick in at a certain rpm.

if you want to use this option HST is meant to be ticked too!!!

no hst ticked means no timing
