Give this a try. Next time out click on 'high speed timing with switching point' and set to 5000rpm
Thanks hana166 Thats helped quite a bit as in it doesn't rock before you get going and full throttle straight away is fine but it is still a little stuttery if you put the throttle in gently from standstill!

Rolling the cat backwards on half brake shows the sensors are being picked up ok. Is there anything obvious i may have missed or un-checked in the A.S software?

if you have sticked to the how-to, updated your speedo to V13.0 and used my setting with your transmitter values it should be fine

ifyou got the feeling of the speedo having a slight hesitation from the start (which is normal depending on how clean the sensors and how strong the magnet is) when you go off with very little timing you should enable the switchpoint or variable depence timing

res4=1 HST without switchpoint
res4=3 HST with switchpoint

or new brakes set to 5 or 7 for HST without / with switchpoint (written that in the how-to already!

How safely could my GM 90 run a 5.5 star? Im guessing it would be a little too nearly the limit. Would I be better off with a 6.5?

Hi Housey

Thats not a problem at all.
I have been running 4t and 4,5t without any problems with this speedo
You have the temp protection in the software, just use it. According to Martin, 120'C is the limit for the speedo. You can adjust the limit to 105'C with 60Amps, so if Your speedo get that temperature, it will not turn off, but just turn down the amps. You can continue, with a slower car, but nothing will happen with the speedo.

Afraid I'm a bit too up north for that mate, I live near Sheffield. Ardent is somewhere I go a fair bit though. I've seen pics of moto and it looks awesome, but a little far away!

If I get a new job I have an interview for I'll be moving down that way so could well be a regular at silverstone. I take it your from round there then?
