the hall sensor lead is just to test the motor hall sensors.
The other one with the small circuit on it is to program the speedo. Only this one fits to the speed.

Anybody knows what's the difference between the GM star wound and the Dr.Speed delta wound brushless motors?

just the type of winding ... the steps are different

6T delta = about 3T star
7T delta = 4T star

and so on

Hello,I have two Genius 95/Evo 3 7.5 and Novak Light 7.5 motors. They works very well on sensorless mode, but in sensored mode(reserved 2 or 6) the motor doesn´t work properly, its like a short but strong stutter when touch the brakes from neutral possition(5-10% from the neutral aprox.)

Motors are OK(works perfect with a Speed Passion GT),
Maybe a software problem?

Regards,
Néstor.

The Novak motor hall sensors don't work perfect down to 3V.
The GM-speedo does have more power and can work down to 3.3V.
Just drive without sensors, like our team drivers.

Very thanks for the reply, but the problem is the same with GM Evo 3 and reserve mode 6(with a full charged, six cell EP 4200 battery).I need to use sensored mode because here(Spain)most tracks(off road)have a very poor grip, and I run a 2WD,

Is possible upgrade the software(send to factory?)to the Genius 100?

Thanks,
Néstor.

No problem. We can make an update to the newest software in our Service department in Germany.

I am still having issues with this controller, It only seems to be an on/off switch I am using the settings suggested on this forum earlier also I do not seem to be able to get much top speed when compared to my Nosram unit could there be an issue with my radio settings. I would love for this to be a great product and maybe its some thing that I am doing but have no problems with using the nosram in a sensored mode with the GM motor perhaps I should use the sensor lead any help appriecaited

make sure you set you servo travel to 100 on the tx in both directions forward/rearward

and you have to gear the motor much much longer than as if you would use the nosram esc
