Default Battery Matchers and Motor Builders

I was hoping all you guys out there can help with this. I would like a list of all the battery matchers that sell batteries, and the motor builders that also sell motors to the public via website or through a LHS. I was thinking about this lately due to the fact I am in the market for a new supplier to buy batteries from now on. This will give others like me a chance to check out what is out there who are also looking and also who are just etting into the hobby a chance to give the small companies a chance to sell their quality good. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using these two for motors and batteries:

www.racedayrc.com and www.axiommotors.com

Axiom does do batteries as well but I am setup with RacedayRC for packs so that is where I get my cells. If you decide to get any packs form Raceday, be sure to tell them I told you about them. David at Axiom is very helpful as well when ordering motors and such.

For batteries you can also check
Nosram: www.nosram.com
LRP: www.lrp.cc
Team Corally: www.corally.com
Team Orion: www.teamorion.com

Advantage of Nosram and LRP batteries are that they don't use IB cells but VTEC cells, which don't have the high number of problems and brakedowns the IB cells have.

For motors you can also check the last 4 sites, and further you can check
For BL:
GM Racing: www.gm-racing.de
Novak: www.teamnovak.com

Personally I prefer the Nosram motors and batteries, using them myselve, and I've got no problems with drivingtime or a lack of speed/power

Whoo Hoo a chance for a shameless plug for myself.

I am a small motor tuner that specializes in 27T and 19T Epic based motors such as Co27, Epic X, Monster Stock and Komodo motors. I am a low volume shop that actually takes the time to tune and tweek each motor I build. Every motor gets all the standard treatment - hoods aligned the right way, armature shimmed to TIGHT tolerences (no slop), magnets zapped with a Thunder RC Zapper, diamond cut comm, balanced armature when needed, slotted brushes, nice break-in process to be sure the brushes are fully seated - not just ran a few minutes then call it good, and probably a few more steps I am forgetting.

Oh, I also post the actual dyno specs on my site so there is no guessing what you are going to get. I'll see how long I can keep that as it is time consuming but for now I want people to see what they can expect to get. I have been in business for about 3 months as a real company and have been shipping motors around the USA and overseas with many positive reports back form the people that run them.

I am small and intend to stay small - Every motor I build is built as if it were my own personal motor for the "big race".

Oh, I will be selling matched EP4200 M-III packs within a week or so. I have all the turbomatcher 4/35 units and the zapper will arrive today.

Ok, shameless plug over - thanks for looking.

On the shameless plug theme.... we are T-Bang Hobby Technology and we are located in the Vancouver area up here in Canada.

We are very happy to support racers across Canada directly and in the UK through our distributor Rapid RC.

We've got motors, batteries, accessories and are currently developing our own line of electronic tools that will start showing up later this year.

As for a motor builder, contact Picco007 (EA team driver) he seemed to bring your motor back from the dead and whoop your butt with it

I seem to recall that he also was one of the two that gave you a run for your money with that motor. I was already out of the race by 7 laps anyways due to a electrical problem with the esc switch.

We all used different motors (X-stock/Monster/CO27, and were all fast. It came down to driving, which shows that they can all be competative. I don't see why you have so much trouble w/motor grearing. Maybe it's something else, EJ Evans and I call it LOFT
