22s are for cold weather
27s are for medium
30s are for hot but you have to remember each brand has there own scale the temps are on each pacage

Generally the lower the number the colder the temp it is made for, the higher the number the hotter the temp it is made for. I have run 36's already but have had no use for 40's as of yet but do have a set in my box.
