Default Spektrum 2 VS. 2.0...difference??

What's the difference between the two? As well as the 3 VS. the 3.0.

Do you mean the original DSM vs DSM2? As of right now there sorta 3 versions of Spektrum, but really only 2.

DSM:
This covers the Original grey cased modules and receivers along with the Pro Series Equipment. The Pro Series equipment is a little quicker thanks to reduced latency. The Pro Series receivers are also water resistant and fuel proof.

DSM2:
This is the technology that was originally released in the DX7 aircraft radio and is being refined for use in surface vehicles in the DX3R. The Spektrum team and some select drivers are in the final testing phases of the DX3R now.

I'm not sure of the DX 2 and DX 2.0 but I've always wondered what the difference between the DX 3 and DX 3.0 is.

Here's the pic of the DX 3

And here's the DX 3.0

There's an obvious difference in layout but the difference in functionality I'm not sure of.

Well from what I can see there is a DX2 and a DX2.0 (+ DX3 DX3.0). I am currently looking at buying one used and there are some that are 2 and 2.0. So I'm wondering what to look for, features and all, as well as anything else. I'm currently using an Airtronics CX2P.

Before I bought a Futaba 3PKS, I looked into these. I am pretty sure the DX3 doesn't come with exponential, but the DX3.0 does. Neither the DX2 or DX2.0 comes with exponential.

These transmitters are based upon transmitters earlier made by Graupner (JR Racing). They were known as the XR3 (Dx3)and the XR6 (Dx3.0). The XR6 has got a lot more functionalities, and according to what I heard, it had a better shape for your hand to drive it.
