I guess I am SOL for I shut the internet service off on my phone so I will have no access to the file at all. Plus I have no idea if it accepts XHTML or not, I would assume it would since it is not an old phone, but a very small screen to view something such as this. I remember trying to view this site when I still had the service and it was rediculous trying to see everything.

Yea that's why this new interface is a scaled down version of the gearcahrt creator so that you can see everything you need on a small screen, the column control also allows you to see more columns (or less) depending on your phone's screen width.

Screen on mine is pretty small at 1 3/16 wide by 1 1/2 high. So if you have it scaled to work on something that small then it will probably be ok. I have a Moto Krzr incase you are wondering.

Yea that sounds about the same size as my son's LG C2000, don't have it here but the specs on line say the phone is:

3.49" x 1.81" x 0.96" (89 x 46 x 24 mm)

so the whole phone is 1.81" wide, take the bezel away ans it's probably about 1 3/16" wide?? ...on his phone 3 columns is "reabable" all the values diplay veritcally:

1 column displays horizontally:

on my T-Mobie MDA (Windows Mobile 5) The page seems to load fine, but I don't see any links to get to the chart creator. It says to select the GearChart Creator from the menu option above, but I see no menu option anywhere.

:edit: using the direct link '\mobile' works, but the formatting of the chart is really hosed. I'll take some pics of it tonight when I get home if you wanna see it.

Yea that would be great if you could, this is a "brave new world" for me, actually been doing quite a bit of mobile device stuff for my clients, but for the most part it's been a pretty "controlled environment" e.g. all the salesguys for the company have a brand X phone, etc. So the more infor I can get on trying to make a genericised version the better ...check your PM for something I'd like you to do if you don't mind

Thanks for doing that, thanks Blisster as well ...I saw what your Nokia and BLisster's CE device is "telling me", of course "out of spec" LOL, anyhow I've accounted for those two types of devices now, so try hitting http://www.gearchart.com again and it should automatically redirect, I don't want to "advertise" the ../mobile link as it will probably change in the future as I add enhancements/learn more about this mobile stuff.

Blisster, send me pics if you can of your formatting, figures it would be Windows CE that would have an issue ...if not you can show me in a couple weeks when we're racing @ Marin.
