Default fan switch?

ok i bought i much more fan that i hard wired to my battery leads but now i wanna ad a switch so i bought a 3 prong toggle switch but how do i wire it up? i can only get either both on no off or and on and a short ie shorting the pack out?
any tips? cheers

just run the + thru the switch leave the - direct.

Here are your three prongs 1 2 3

What you do is solder one end of the negative wire to 1 and the other to 2, leave 3 empty and when the switch is over that side you'll have an open circuit ie no electricity flowing to your fans
