plam, just put a successful EU asphalt setup on the car. You'll be able to run the same suspension geometry, shocks, springs, sway bars, ackerman. Don't use any standoff posts.
Last year I was found a asphalt setup that worked great on my 007 US. This year I'm running a rubber/carpet setup on my 008 US, and it is also working great.

Hey guys, just want to ask what do you usually gear your Orion 13.5 on an indoor asphalt with approximately 48meters straight aways?
Thanks in advance!!

For 13.5 you'll run an FDR in the mid 4's. Then check your temps and try to keep them under 170.

Hello.
How you get this "FDR in the mid 4's".At the Xray chart there aren't that low numbers. Can you help me how to calculate this?
Thanks

XRA300011 - XRAY T2 '008 - EU Rubber-Spec 6 Cell Competition 1/10 Electric Touring Car - $459.99 $459.99

Castle Creations Mamba Max 1/10th Scale Brushless Car Package (6900kV) - $199.99

Spektrum DX2.0 DSM 2CH Surface Radio System w/Servos - $154.99

Hyperion EOS 0610i Net Li/NiMH/A123 Balancing Charger (6S/10A/250W) HP-EOS610I - $169.99

Deans Ultra Plug - $2.79

Deans Female Pigtail - $3.59

Team Orion Carbon Edition 3200mAh Li-Poly Battery - $84.99

=$1,076.33

Is this everything I would need to run the T2'008 I have chosen? All I think I need is a servo but I dont want to choose a very expensive one, what would be a good choice?

Hide, it depends what you mean by everything. You'll need tires, body shell, tire sauce, tools, pinions, ride height gauge, paint, body reamer.

Also, that charger is way overkill. You can save $50+ there.
http://www.fmadirect.com/Products.htm?cat=32&nid=24

Get three spare pairs of Deans connectors. You'll use them eventually.

If you are doing serious racing, I think you'll regret the Mamba Max decision. I did, and the guy I sold my used Mamba Max to did as well. Use the money you save on the charger to get an LRP TC Spec + LRP motor.

I'm also a fairly big believer in buying car chassis used. You can get that same chassis, used, for $300; and it'll probably come with $100 worth of spare parts in addition.

Thanks for your help

Okay, so the MM isn't a good choice for racing, and I'll need a better ESC + Motor. The charger is really expensive but it was the first one I saw which matched what I needed, so I'll looking into that one you have linked to. I'm going to need more plugs anyway for my brothers car so I'll buy loads.

Are the Xray pinions good choices like they are with their 1/18 cars?

The reason I have chosen to buy a new one is because so far all of the cars I have bought were RTR because they were used or not for racing. If I bought a used one I wouldn't easily be able to fix & replace parts as quickly.

What tires and body are good choices for racing on asphalt?

Because of the lack of tracks here in the UK I will need to find one which I could race on but I'd have to travel quite a way so I want to make it worth it. Might try asking my LHS if they know of a track nearby.

I don't think so, but you might find a few sitting on a shelf somewhere, or an online shop that happened to find some. Everything on Xray's website points that it is superceded and replaced with the T2'007, then the T2'008.
