with the 008 car the stock pullies are 38/16. Same front belt as the 007 car, with a longer rear belt...

Belt wear is increased on the 008 EU cars. If you make sure you have the pinion grub screw flush the belts should last longer than 4 packs. I haven't changed my belts yet after MANY packs. Thats testing CP 7x1, CP 8x1, Orion 3.5, Orion 4.5, Orion 10.5, and komodo 19. Lots of setup testing.. and still on stock belts.. Make sure your pinion grub screw isn't cutting the belt and you have the -0.5 update for the midshaft. For testing I will keep running the original belts to see how long till the rear belt is done.. For a race I could probably change them..

Its easier to get 4.0 fdr with the 34/20 pullies. But most of the people I know have been running 88/45-50 with the stock pullies on the 008 car and liking it(you can run kimbro, RW or whatever bolts on. Usually the only thing you need to do is sand the spacer to get things to fit). As with anything, just because one person likes it doesn't mean its for everyone. Just check out guy... he is pretty quick... but CRAZY setups lol.

At this moment I drive 38/20 because it feels more like 38/16, is verry smooth verry free also, and te belts dont wear.

Did he lose because he was to slow? No. He made a mistake, thats it. Vicktor was really fast thats true.
Victor was faster A2, A3. A3 he was held up by teemu. T traction rolled A2, so much for your less traction roll theory lol. j/k

The "1" refers to a different set of diff eccentrics, that raise or lower the diff by a further 1mm than the standard eccentrics.

Nope, I would worry about getting the 3.0 springs in first lol. A fair bit of the 008 option parts should be in wednesday... Yes, that includes the eccentrics. (they have shipped from xray)

Care to elaborate?? lol.

I have only tried the std pulleys/belts so far, and have found the rear belt wear to be relatively high. I will be experimenting with 38/20 (171t front 63t rear belts), 38/18 ( 170t front 62t rear belts) and 34/20 as soon as I can. Will post my findings when I'm done.

Will say it again, expect more belt wear than 007 cars... Still evaluating belt wear for yok/ Shumi belts vs stock... (when running 1.7 internal ratio)

Actually, the optional "1" eccentric hubs (#302077) have been available in the USA for quite some time already.
Here are the official details:
T2 008 Set of Eccentric Composite Hubs ''1'' (4+2)

The stock hubs (#302078) are the same as the ones from the 007, and they offer a 0.5mm offset.
