it's going to be 27T stock not sure about tyres...
I really love yokomo but as you know it's got too much flex for high grip carpet racing is there any chance to make some mods or something to make the chasis stiffer???
or where can I find team Crest chasis???
or is that better to buy trf or cyclone???cos yokomo has some tweaking issues...and steering plate is carbon fibre not really strong...

I hate to hijack someone's thread, but I have the same question, and I don't have any on road car, so I'm looking at a new purchase. I'm trying to find a local track but there isn't anything really close. Closest one I can find is an on road track, but I'd rather race carpet.

Ask 100 people and you'll get pretty much 100 different answers !

I would suggest you go to your local track, see what is popular there, ask LOTS of questions, and also consider what chassis the local stores support.

Most of the new cars perform to a similar level, but it's no fun if you break something and can't get a replacement part in time for the next race !

All of that couldnt be more true For a few years, I always wanted to be different, so I ran stuff that lhs didnt have. A few hard lessons and I still run something different than whats sold locally, but got smart and ordered lots, and lots of extras. But smart move would be to go w/ what you can go buy yourself at the hobby shop

Unfortunately my local hobby shop went under so I have to order stuff off the internet anyway. Tower Hobbies has become my local shop.

They say that the TRF415MSX is the kit for carpet tracks... And also competitive at asphalt tracks...
