Problem of threads like this is that people always call the brand they're racing with

I know TC5 designed for carpet racing I'm really confused what to do as I live in UK I may go for mi3 but I don't know if I have to buy carpet chassis for mi3 if so that's gonna be silly move from Tweakomo cos If I buy carpet chassis I buy it for BD

Don't know if it's for real, because I didn't experience it myselve, but I heard that the MI3 is very hard to get a good setup with. I know a guy who was sponsored to go driving with a Mi3, and gave it back, he rather bought his own car than drive with that one... Don't know how true this is, but we don't want you to buy a car you maybe won't like. Don't know how experienced you are with tuning a car.

on schumacher web site it says car designed for max Flex I think that's what we don't want on carpet racing do we call it as a high grip condition is that wright ?
how should be the ideal carpet car?

actually has enough adjustability make it a force on carpet rubber tire or foam.
for foams...the carpet decks are awesome...virtually zero flex.

Do you still keep your Yokomo BD or have you sold it ?If you compare Mi3 vs Yokomo Bd what are your thoughts...What makes bd works on Carpet?

Hi Yokemad, what club you running at?
As people have already said on here, if you ask 100 people you will get 100 different answers.
At my club (Southend) we run a high grip carpet every Tuesday night. We have members still running XXX-S and setting good times against some running cyclones, MI2's, MI3 (one off), Yok's, PHI's and Xray's.
I think based on my own experiences over the last 9-10 months that the best option is the T2'007 US if you are only interested in racing on the carpet. I run a EU because I do alot of out-door racing and some rubber on carpet.
When the foams go on the car I fit a diff to the front, 30lb springs to the front and 28lb to the rear, fit all the top-deck screws and the fancy ali posts which join the top-deck to the chassic and thats it. 9 times out of 10 no one is faster on foams.
What ever you chose, have fun and enjoy grip!

I race at Roneo and newham venues on wooden floor but from 12th of september we have a new club and it'll be carpet and I'm not sure about Yokomo bd on carpet most of yokomo drivers has a 3mm chassis for carpet race I'm in between buying a stiffer chassis for bd and buying another car Kit...
