HELP!! quantum competition probalm.
 

My quantum is gitching the motor. when it is 10 feet away it starts to go slow and the motor dies. What should i do? How long does it to get a ESC back from the LRP distributr??????????????

are you sure its the speedo? it might be your receiver or bad crystals or some other problem. I'm just saying make sure it's actually bad before you send it in for repair. If you have another receiver try that or change crystals or even try a different motor

What about putting capasitors on the motor?

yes you need caps on the motor, at least 2. also check your transmitter batteries, if they are weak you will sometimes glitch

Ok thanks i found the problam. The reciver was too close to the battery.

I don't know it just was interfering. I saw i a magazine it said 10 things to stop te glitch andi went down the list.

The reason it causes a problem is because electricity and magnitizm go hand in hand. You cannot have one without the other.

When electicity flows through a conductor a magnetic field is created surronding the conductor. The oppisite is also true; when a conductor is passed through a magnetic field a current is induced in the conductor. Theese are some of the basic principals that make motors work.

Having your reciever or speedo too close to the batteries or wires will cause the magnetic field arround them to interfere with its opperation.

I have a monster stock pro and it has capasitors on it do i nee any more??

dont think so, all i do to my monster stock is whack on a schokty diode. then its all apples from there.
