Yea, I figured that much. I was just wondering under what conditions one would be preferred over the other.

Not really a solid answer for that. You gotta use what works. At my track I didn't have the same traction with double pinks compared to the Parma Magenta's, so when I looked into it, it was recommended I try the Jaco Magenta's since they are on par with Foam Shore ratings.

This past Tuesday night Shawn did some testing at our local track. We have a good amount of bite as the crowd is decent and stable and Paragon is allowed.

Shawn's setup was running Double Pink - Double Pink Orange 26mm Jaco 2-Stage tires. He cut a new set of Prisms and went with Double Pink Orange up front and did Lillac in the back. This is without a doubt something worth trying, Shawn's car was absolutely amazing on the track. It rotated so well in the corner but wasn't hard to drive at all, the perfect blend.

Again Jack, excellent product! The new options are really going to open new possibilities with setup.

Nick

These sound like they might be worth trying out.

My only thing is that I used to run Jaco's but the rims used to crack pretty easy when I hit a board or got into it with another car. So I switched to the Parma's which were better. Did Jaco do anything to make the rim stronger?

The $10 price on these tires is really nice. I wonder what the street price of the new CRC's will end up being, I think their MSRP is even lower. That's one way to revive foam racing. :-)

I run the magentas in lower traction then switch to dblepnks when traction comes up

Here is a pic of the Jaco Prism wheel on my TC5. Maybe you can see some of the 3d detail. Nice looking wheel. Plan to test this weekend on outdoor asphalt. OD was about 61.45mm.

The look was honestly the first thing that sold me. We were big on the 26mm 2-stage tire and couldn't have imagined anything working better. Even with that said I was ready to change over the second I saw these! The fact that they perform fantastic on the track is just a bonus for me =)
