I ordered some Jaco Prism Magenta's today, hopefully I can them by Saturday for racing and I'll let you all know.

Double Pink/Double Pink Orange should work on your car Sal. If you need a little more up front we now have the option of going with a slightly firmer rear tire (Lilac). Grip is almost high enough at RCE to get some good tire testing done, that track change makes it tough to do anything setup related for a few weeks.

See you Tuesday!

Nick

Hi Jay,

That's almost more of a question for Jack =)

I just sent over an order at the end of last week so it shouldn't be too long. These sold out in record time for us!

Nick

I finally got the Magenta Prism's. I will be doing some heads-up comparison between the Jaco Prism Magenta's and the Parma Pro 53 Magenta's. Out of the box, the Jaco Magenta's feel much softer than the Parma Magenta's, although both are reportedly a 32-shore foam. The Parma foam appears to be more dense, but with the Jaco foam you can easily see the foam bubble like structure.

Follow-up will be posted in a few days with my thoughts between these two tires.

I have been running the Jaco magenta too. I found they are hands down more consistent then the parma.

Jack,
Thanks for giving use this compound I have always been big fan of jacos over parma's.

How do the magentas compare to the double pinks? I guess what I mean, is, in what situation would you run one over the other? I've been pleased with the double pinks, but I'm thinking about grabbing a set of magentas to see how they feel.

The $10 price on these tires is really nice. I wonder what the street price of the new CRC's will end up being, I think their MSRP is even lower. That's one way to revive foam racing. :-)
