The 2 shops I went to whilst in Florida were TQ Hobbies and Superior Hobbies. Both shops are really friendly and whilst SH has everything you could imagine in stock in their shop, TQ has a tarmac (although small) track right outside. If you're a Brit abroad, you'll love both shops!

wingman: actually TQ hobbies is now Fast track hobbies. They also changed location, and they dont have the small asphalt track anymore.

Yep, FT moved about 1/4 mile up the road, and although they don't have an asphalt track, they do have an indoor mini-z track. Superior sets up a track in the parking lot the first sunday of the month. Hi,

I am heading out to Orlando in a couple of weeks and intend to race at Superior on the 2nd of Sept. Where is Fasttrack is relation to Superior in Casselberry ? Is it much further away from International Drive than Superior ? I'll used Google Maps to find out and it appears to be fairly close to Superior - is that correct ?

It was a couple of years ago that I went to the shops but they are both easy to find. Just go up the main freeway from Orlando for about 35 minutes and they are on the right. Raced the Florida State Series race at TQ with my 12th scale and had a great time. Really friendly bunch of racers! Told my other half that everything was half price compared to home so bought twice as much whilst there!!
